This sculpture is a reconfiguration of some of the many thousands of tents found abandoned after Ireland’s largest music festival. The crystalline structure is an attempt to negotiate the ground between visionary architect Buckminster Fuller’s ideas for utopian living that were taken up by counter-culture groups in the 1960’s, and the provisional townscapes of contemporary music festivals.
